WASHINGTON: General Motors Co mentioned Thursday it will prolong a manufacturing halt at its Orion Meeting plant in Michigan, which makes the Chevrolet Bolt electric vehicle, by means of Jan 28.
The biggest U.S. automaker in August widened its recall of the Bolt to greater than 140,000 autos to interchange battery modules and to handle fireplace dangers after a sequence of fires.
